Heavyweight prospect “The Big Uzbek” Bakhodir Jalolov is set to return to the ring on February 6 in Montreal, Canada, as he takes on journeyman French heavyweight David Spilmont (16-8-1, 11 KOs). The fight marks Jalolov’s first professional bout since his November 2023 knockout victory over Chris Thompson.

Jalolov missed the entirety of 2024 to participate in the Paris Olympic Games, where he won gold for the second consecutive Olympics.
Jalolov, 30, has started his professional career by winning his first fourteen bouts, all by knockout.

Spilmont is riding a five-fight win streak, four of which have come by knockout. Spilmont’s most notable bout was a sixth-round knockout loss to Alen Babic in a back-and-forth affair.
